Youth Day in Sanggau

Sanggau Diocese Youth Day is held once in two years. This activity attracted many young people gathered from various parishes in the diocese. This is the Youth Day to IX for the diocese Sanggau organizing the activity. There are 2,500 people including coaches youth participants from each parish, priests, nuns, and the organizing committee. The entire schedule of events is full of spiritual guidance, especially Via Crucis, adoration, the sacrament of penance.
Sanggau diocese has programs remain in the faith development of young people. Young people are the future of the church and the nation. They should have the ability to resist various challenges in the future. There is full awareness that we are now dealing with the secular world would be a huge challenge. The things that are spiritual will slowly disappear.
Will the things that are spiritual last forever? Sure need continuous understanding on everyone, especially young Catholics. Young people have enough knowledge like Scripture, liturgy, and also the political world these days. They have a clear vision and mission in this world against the current challenges. Many young people have a dark future. Consequently stout young people involved in narcotics, drunkenness, prostitution, terrorism. This is really damaging the world's youth.
